CUPE Local 1883 will provide reimbursements for childcare instead of providing a separate space. If you already have childcare that you use, you may continue to use that service and can be reimbursed for your hours spent performing strike duties (prorated).
If you do not currently use childcare but will require during the strike, we ask that you make arrangements for childcare near home or your strike duties location, and CUPELocal 1883 will reimburse you during picket time (prorated).
Please keep any receipts or invoices to claim your reimbursement. Also, please note that only hours spent on picket duties (plus travel time, where needed) will be reimbursed. If there are any questions or concerns, please email Amanda Sinclair, Treasurer.
